Report on 9th Convocation of Rai University on 9thFebruary 2023
The 9th Convocation of Rai University, Ahmedabad was held on February 9th, 2023 to confer degrees upon graduating students in various fields of study. The ceremony began with a Convocation procession, which included the Provost, Dr. Anil Tomar, Honorable Chief Guest Shri Prafulbhai Chhaganbhai Pansheriya ji, Minister of State (Parliamentary Affairs, Primary, Secondary and Adult Education, Higher Education), Govt. of Gujarat, respected Special Guest Shri Saravanan Muthiah, General Manager – Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance, Concord Biotech Limited, the Registrar, Prof. Lalit Adhikari, the Controller of Examination, Prof. Veerendra Singh Nagoria, members of the Governing Body, members of the Board of Management and Academic Council, Deans, Professors, and Faculty Members. The ceremony formally inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp and a performance of the Saraswati Vandana by the dignitaries. The function continued with Provost Prof. (Dr.) Anil Tomar imparting wisdom to the graduating students.
The 9th Convocation ceremony of Rai University, Ahmedabad was held with great enthusiasm, with a total of 650 students being conferred their degrees, including 20 distinguished gold medalists and 65 recipients of doctoral degrees. The Provost and Registrar proceeded to present the degrees to the graduates with great solemnity. The university extends its heartfelt congratulations to the top graduate of the program, Ms. Surana Aastha, who excelled in the M.Sc. Microbiology program.
The Chief Guest Shri Prafulbhai Chhaganbhai Pansheriya ji, was highly appreciative of the efforts and commitment of Rai University towards quality education and academic excellence. Registrar Prof. Lalit Adhikari expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Chief Guest for graciously taking the time to enlighten the audience and imparting valuable insights. He also acknowledged the contributions of all stakeholders in the successful organization of the 9th Convocation.
At the conclusion of the convocation ceremony, the graduates commemorated the occasion by taking photos and sharing their experiences with their families and peers at designated Selfie areas.
Notification
It is hereby notified that the 9th Convocation of Rai University, Ahmedabad for the pass-out batches of 2022 will be held on Thursday 9th February 2023 at Rai University.
All Graduands are hereby informed to visit the Convocation Registration portal and submit the application form online after paying the required Degree Fee of Rs. 3500/-.
The application portal will be open till 31st January 2023. Students are advised to register at the earliest. No application will be accepted after the last date.
Only TWO GUESTS (Parents /Blood Relatives) are permitted to accompany the Graduand to the Convocation.
Dress code will be applicable in order to attend the convocation for Students. Students need to arrange the dress on their own.

Gents: White Kurta Pajama with Black Formal Shoes
Ladies: White Suite with Black belly shoes.
All the students will be given University Stole, which they can wear over the prescribed dress code, by depositing a refundable security amount of Rs. 200. The money will be returned to the candidate upon returning the stole at the registration desk. Students are advised to carry the change to avoid any inconvenience during registration on Convocation Day.
Parents/Accompanying guests are advised to be in formal attire and to be seated at the designated area only.
Rai University is hosting Degree documents on National Academic Depository (NAD). This will help students to e-verify their Degree documents from government agencies/companies. Hence students are encouraged to register on Digi locker by visiting the following link: https://nad.digilocker.gov.in/login?
