Celebrating International Yoga Day on 21stJune 2025
Rai University celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm through a special yoga session conducted by professional trainer Mr. Brijesh Khant. The event aimed to promote holistic well-being among students and faculty by encouraging the integration of yoga into daily life for physical, mental, and emotional balance.
The session focused on three key objectives: to promote overall wellness, raise awareness about the health benefits of yoga, and inspire participants to adopt yoga as a part of a healthy lifestyle. Mr. Khant began with a brief explanation of yoga’s importance and provided step-by-step guidance on how to start a sustainable yoga practice.
A major highlight of the session was the trainer’s special focus on yoga practices for common health issues such as PCOD, bone-related problems, and migraines. His expert insights helped participants understand how yoga can be used as a preventive and healing tool.
Participants actively engaged in performing various asanas including Tadasana, Dhanurasana, Vajrasana, Gomukhasana, Chakrasana, Bhujangasana, and Surya Namaskar. The session also included pranayama techniques like Bhramari and Anulom-Vilom, followed by meditation. Mr. Khant emphasized the correct way of practicing meditation, focusing on posture, breathing, and mental clarity.
The session left a positive impact, with many attendees feeling rejuvenated and motivated to incorporate yoga into their routines. It successfully met its goals of encouraging wellness, increasing awareness about yoga’s benefits, and promoting a healthier lifestyle within the university community.
