Skill Spotlight on 24 – 26th March, 2025
From 24th to 26th March 2025, Rai University, Ahmedabad, successfully hosted Skill Spotlight 2025, a dynamic three-day skill development initiative organized by the Corporate Resource Cell, in collaboration with the Rai School of Agriculture and the Rai School of Sciences. The event was designed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world competencies through a curated series of workshops, expert sessions, and hands-on training modules.
Skill Spotlight 2025 aimed to prepare students for evolving career landscapes by focusing on key professional skills such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, adaptability, and technical proficiency. The event brought together faculty mentors, industry experts, and enthusiastic students to foster an environment of growth, exploration, and learning.
Each day featured a unique blend of practical sessions tailored to enhance both domain-specific and cross-disciplinary skills. Activities included:
• Interactive workshops on resume building, interview techniques, and professional communication.
• Technical training sessions related to agriculture, life sciences, and applied sciences.
• Group challenges and peer learning exercises focused on innovation, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Students engaged in real-time scenarios and simulations that pushed them to apply their classroom learning in a professional context. Industry experts were invited to share insights on employability, emerging trends, and workplace expectations, helping students align their academic journey with future goals.
