Seminar Blockchain Basics and Solidity with Smart Contract on 10th January 2025

Rai University hosted a Seminar on Blockchain Basics and Solidity with Smart Contracts on January 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at A3GF08, organized by the Rai School of Engineering and CRI. The session was led by Ms. Madhuri N. Jadhav, Certified Ethereum Blockchain Developer and Assistant Professor at JSPM Narhe Technical Campus, Pune. This seminar covered blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, smart contract development using Solidity, and the role of Ethereum-based decentralized applications (DApps). Students gained hands-on understanding of deploying smart contracts and explored applications in finance, supply chain, healthcare, and cybersecurity. Key topics included EVM, gas fees, NFTs, DeFi, and integration of AI with blockchain. Attendees also explored career paths in blockchain development, learned about security concerns, and understood the transformative potential of decentralized technologies. Ideal for students interested in cryptography, Web3, and DApps, this seminar provided a solid foundation in one of today’s most in-demand skills. It allowed participants to explore the future of secure, decentralized innovation.
