Session on World Water Day Celebration at Rai University on 22 March 2023
Rai University recently organized a session on World Water Day where Ms. Preeti Das, an Assistant Professor at Rai School of Management Studies, highlighted the critical role of water in various processes, maintaining the ecosystem, climate, and human health. The UN’s report reveals that 2.2 billion people lack safe drinking water, and India’s 600 million people are facing water scarcity due to pollution and inadequate infrastructure. She stressed the need for innovative ideas like rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment, and water-efficient technologies to conserve water.
