Rai University organized Virtual Tour at Government Mental Hospital, Ahmedabad on 9th February, 2021 for the Students of Management (HHM) and Psychology. Rai University has discovered innovative ways to engage the Students during this Pandemic.
Prof. Sneha Thakkar from Rai University welcomed the Students on board the Virtual Tour. This tour satisfied the objectives of providing exposure to the working Hospital Administration and understand practical roles and challenges faced by Psychiatrist, Counsellor in dealing with patient requirements.
Virtual Tour conducted through Google Meet was guided by Ms.Vibha, Senior Nurse who gave live glimpse of various departments of the hospital such as OPD Daycare, Acute Patient, Recovered Patient and Workshop Center during hospital live presentation. The tour included the demonstration and details of various therapies and instruments like MRI,EEG, biochemistry analyzer, electrolyte analyzer. This was followed by an interaction sessionwith Dr. Chirag, In charge-RMO and Psychiatrist and Mr.Maulik Talaviya, AHA.
Students relished the experience and the session concluded with vote of thanks to Dr. Chirag, Mr. Maulik Talaviya and Team by Dr. Ashish Rami (HoD- RBS, Director-CRD, Rai University) and Dr. Pooja Thakar (Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Rai University).
