To mark the great Teacher & Philosopher, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s Birthday, Teacher’s Day was observed and celebrated at Rai University with great gusto and gaiety on September 5, 2019. The celebration began at 10:30 am at MOOCS. The function was inaugurated with Saraswati Vandana and lamp lightening by Dr. Anil Tomar (Provost), Prof. Lalit Adhikari (Registrar) Dr. D. M. Patel (Dean-Diploma Engineering), Dr. K. V. Patel (Dean-Degree Engineering), Prof. Veerendrasingh Nagoria (Deputy Registrar-Academics), Dr.Rajiv Kukkar (Principal- D. Pharm) and Prof. Ashish Rami (Director- CRD)
Further Dr. Sandesh Chibber (Controller of Examination) briefed the audience which included both, the faculties and the students, a peek into the life of Dr. Radhakrishnan through his speech and also explained about the significance of Teacher’s Day. The major highlight of the Teacher’s Day was drama which was well played by the faculty members by being students, and was very appreciated by the audience.
The celebration of the event and the surprises planned by the students was begun with the great presence of Event coordinator Prof. Hardik Patel, who launched the Show ‘Guruji Namaste’ and explained the rules for the games planned by the Reevot Team. The very first game planned by faculties was Musical Chair involving ten faculty members, further the winners for Musical chair were Prof. Prem Pal (Department of Agriculture) and Prof. Binal Kathiriya (Department of Fashion and Technology). Group of students has given a wonderful Dance performance in front of all the faculties and students. Ms. Mezy Khusoh, from students and Prof. Harsh Solanki from faculties sang different melodious songs.
The Deans and faculty members were overwhelmed by the efforts and love shown by the students.
