The Corporate Resource Cell of Rai University organized a visit to SAFEXPRESS Pvt. Ltd with a vision to help the students to understand ideas with real time learning concepts. The students of Bachelor of Business administrator Semester IV & Master of Business Administrator Semester VI were the prime beneficiaries of this visit. Mr. Arbind Singh Manager-Marketing and Mr. Ashok Shrivastav Manager were the company guide for the students on behalf of the organization.

The Industrial Visit aimed at understanding the role of Logistics Park in supply chain operations, the management of warehouse operations, multi-modal logistics system and operations of fulfillment centre for online business.
The tour was initiated by a welcome and company presentation; where the host manager had covered almost all about Safexpress from its history, present operation and even the future development. Company’s value-added logistics serve for 9 different business verticals ranging from Apparel & Lifestyle, E-commerce, Healthcare, Hi-Tech, Publishing to Automotive, Engineering & Electrical Hardware, FMCG & Consumer Electronics and Institutional. The operation part was introduced like how a huge amount of facilities and property Safexpress own like the nationwide network and giant facilities; how they distributed their resources to meet their customers need and achieved their goal. Beyond that, the high technology was also mentioned like Safexpress system can provide highly customized solution, flexible system integration and seamless info flow among the supply chain.
After the presentation section, they moved to the warehouse operating for the Gujarat territory. The managers were deeply knowledgeable and make the students understood almost everything about warehouse management & designing and the ways to make better use of space and even how the heavy pallets can suffer.
The visit was greatly helped students to understand various aspects of supply chain management, Warehouse Management and Inventory Management. The visit was concluded with a question-answer session, where the students clarified their doubts and understood the requirements of the modern day corporate expectations from future business skills prospective.
