The Corporate Resource Cell of Rai University organized a visit to Mafatlal Industries with a vision to help the students to understand and “spin a new way” to success. The students of B.Tech Mechanical Semester IV were the prime beneficiaries of this visit. Mr. Chimanbhai Patel and Mr. Harish Patel represented the acclaimed brand name of the Mafatlal House of Fabrics.

Students visited the open end and ring spinning frames, shuttle-less looms, combo-bleaching range, continuous dyeing range and modern rotary printing machines. Students learned about various textile materials and processes. During Visit Mr. Chimanbhai Patel & Mr. .Harish Patel told student about conventional textile machining and non conventional textile machining so as to make the students understand about the difference between traditional and modern day engineering.
The visit greatly encouraged the students to think over a career in the engineering section of the textile and apparels industry.
