Industrial Visit – Sun Insulators – 3rd September, 2015 – Corporate Resource Cell.

Consistency and hard work are the most important qualities and core of life at Rai University where students are not only educated but also made familiar with the tough realities of modern day work life and professionalism standards. The Corporate Resource Cell keeping this aim in mind successfully organized an Industrial Visit at Sun Insulators Ltd. manufacturing plant on 3rd September 2015 for the benefit of the students pursuing diploma level studies in electrical engineering in the 3rd and 5th Semester. The students were guided by Mr. Priyank Surana, the Director of the company.
Sun Insulators has been manufacturing products that have proved to be successful in fulfilling customers’ varied and distinct product requirements. The highly sophisticated products are produced by the latest technology and most updated procedures that have given Sun Insulators not only national but international acclamation also. The strict adherence to quality standards further enhances the trust of customers and they hugely rely upon us.
The visit began with the division of the students into two groups guided by one supervisor each. The students were carefully guided throughout the tour including the raw material, drying and heating section to make them understand the complex process of the production of an insulator, types of porcelain insulators and also some basic level understanding of the working of a small scale business.
The students gained substantial amount of knowledge thanks to some active coordination and enthusiasm of the company personnel and also learnt the basics of running a business through sheer hard work, will power in a cut-throat competitive environment.
