Industrial Visit-BTH Electrics Gujarat Pvt. Ltd.-17th March, 2015 – Corporate Resource Cell

The Corporate Resource Cell organized an Industrial Visit to BTH Electrics Gujarat Pvt. Ltd. on 17th March, 2015 for the students pursuing B.Tech Electrical Engineering, Semester IV and Semester VIII at Rai University, Ahmedabad. Students learnt the process and on which principles & characteristics do the Electrical Engineering peripherals work and function.
 
Established in 5 August, 1992, BTH Electrics (Guj.) Pvt. Ltd. was started by well qualified engineers having experience of servicing in welding machineries. We started our operation as manufacturers and exporters of welding machinery. Located in Ahmedabad, we have provided world-class products both in local and international market. ESAB, a pioneer and world leader in welding technology appointed BTH as their in-house service provider of ‘Air Plasma Cutting Machines’ for the region. .
 
The main objective behind this visit was to know welding process on which principles & characteristics does it work such as: SMAW, Power Sources for MWA Welding, GTAW, and GMAW. The main objective of these is to provide practical processing knowledge relevant to what they have studied in class.
 
The students were guided around the campus expertly by the resource person Mr. Hoston Thomas. The students were shown an in-depth of the company’s products like Magnetic Rectifiers, Thyristorised Welding Rectifiers, MIG / MAG Machines, etc.
 
The students got a great exposure of different welding processes and different equipments used to manufacture different types of welding machines. Students were very much happy and satisfied with the visit. Great efforts were put in by the Corporate Resource Cell team.
