The ladder to excellence is built on the steps of consistent performance. The Corporate Resource Cell organized a guest lecture on the Performance Management Systems and invited Dr. Gaurav Buch, Head – HR & Admin at Rasna International Pvt. Ltd. to share his experiences on the topic with the students of BBA and MBA at Rai University, Ahmedabad on 21st March, 2015.
Dr. Gaurav Buch has pursued his studies in HR with an MBA degree. He has a rich experience ranging up to 12 years and he has a keen eye for Change Management, Employee Relationship, Govt. Liaison, etc. He has strong hands on experience in Recruitment, Compensation & Benefit, Sales HR, Policy Making, Strategic HR, Training & Development and Performance Management Systems.
The veteran started with a friendly tone and light note to introduce the basics of HR. During the course of his conversation, he also asked some of the basic questions related to HR and received accurate answers from the students. He went on to explain the basic functions of HR and the changing role of HR as a business partner and also turned to prevailing Performance Management Systems in HR with focus on KRAs of modern employees.
He brought the session to its climax with parameters that are to be considered while considering the appraisal of employees and also the comparison of KRAs against actual performance of the employees with relevant topics like Guidelines for performance Appraisal. However the highlight of the lecture remained on KRA, Attributes required for a successful HR Leader.
The students were thrilled at the knowledge and were able to update many of their concepts of PMS.
