The Corporate Resource Cell organized a great knowledge sharing session along with Management Department at Rai University for “Corporate World Training” on the topic of “Modern Training and Development Techniques” on 22nd April, 2016 and invited Mr. Sanjiv Deshpande to present his views and guidance on this interesting topic.
Mr. Sanjiv Deshpande is Industrial Psychologist, O.D. Interventionist, Change Agent and Behavioral Specialist Trainer (Experiential Learning). Mr. Sanjiv Deshpande is Director at “THE CONSULTUS” which is providing consultancy services in the areas of Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Competency & Performance Management Training and development, HR/Legal/ ISO 9001:2008 audits. He has about 30 years Industry experience in Human Resource Management, Employee Relations and Quality Mgt. Systems.

The first session of the day revolved around the concept of significance of Training and Development activities to enhance organization’s as well as individual’s performance. The speaker had given overview of concepts of Behavioral Science for behavior modification. He had given special emphasized on listening grievances of employees carefully.
Special part of session was “Experimental Learning” with joy. Apart from this, Mr. Sanjiv also shared his practical knowledge and valuable experiences which made the session more interactive and remarkable. Mr. Sanjiv focused on changing requirements of modern era in the area of Training and Development.
Mr. Sanjiv involved students by playing management skills development related games which was helpful to understand practical implementation of Team Building and Leadership concept. At the end Mr. Sanjiv had given summary of the session by word “Learn” which means earning is followed by learning. Practical concepts made the session remarkable for the students who are going to enter in corporate world in near future.
